The Administrative Assistant provides a higher level of support on a variety of administrative functions to senior level leadership and other senior group members within the designated area of the Institutional Group. Serves as backup to peers and works to facilitate the smooth operation of day-to-day department activities.
Under general supervision, the Research Associate II is primarily responsible for evaluating biotechnology therapeutic pipelines and competitive landscapes by analyzing data presentations and scientific literature, performing financial modeling, and providing organizational support to the senior level Research Analyst. The ideal candidate possesses high-level knowledge of oncology and/or immunology concepts. Under general supervision, the Capital Markets Analyst is responsible for supporting deal teams on capital markets transaction origination and execution across both debt and equity products. This role will require the analyst to focus on origination, pricing, structuring, modeling, valuation and execution of a full suite of products, including senior debt, subordinated debt, preferred equity, IPOs, and follow-on offerings.
Stifel is seeking an Associate to join its Leveraged Finance team based in New York City. The Leveraged Finance team provides a full array of financing solutions for financial sponsors and corporate clients. Leveraged Finance originates structures, underwrites, and executes non-investment grade debt financings, including leveraged loans, high yield bonds, bridge financings, and private debt financings.
Under the guidance of senior traders, the trading assistant provides administrative support to the desk, compiles and reviews trade and market data, and helps to enhance trading processes. This role also involves monitoring market conditions, analyzing economic data, and once licensed, executing trades in various fixed income products. A successful hire would eventually grow into a trader within the Fixed Income Capital Markets (FICM) group, who would sit at the Stifel Executable Markets desk. Hours are 5am – 2:30pm.
