What You'll Be Doing

The Marketing Associate supports Financial Advisors, branch associates, and home office partners within assigned regions by coordinating marketing requests and helping ensure work moves efficiently from intake through completion. The Marketing Associate works closely with the Marketing Specialist assigned to each region and with teams across Marketing to gather complete information, manage workflow activity, provide timely communication, and support the execution of marketing initiatives. This role serves as an accessible frontline resource for marketing questions and helps advisors and branch associates navigate Marketing processes, platforms, and available resources. 

What We're Looking For

  • Serve as a frontline marketing contact for Financial Advisors, Client Service Associates, branch personnel, and home office partners, responding to questions and helping individuals navigate Marketing resources, processes, and platforms. 
  • Review incoming marketing requests for completeness and accuracy, gather necessary information, and assign work to appropriate team members in accordance with established processes and priorities. 
  • Monitor active requests and projects within assigned regions, identify potential delays or risks, and coordinate with internal teams to help ensure timely completion of work. 
  • Provide proactive and timely communication regarding project status, open items, next steps, and anticipated timelines to advisors, branch associates, and internal stakeholders. 
  • Educate advisors and branch associates on request submission best practices, approved marketing resources, self-service tools, and available marketing solutions. 
  • Participate in regional meetings with Marketing Specialists, advisors, and branch personnel to understand business objectives, upcoming initiatives, and anticipated marketing needs, while documenting follow-up items and supporting execution. 
  • Monitor activity within assigned regions and identify recurring questions, advisor needs, and trends, sharing relevant insights with the Marketing Specialist and team leadership. 
  • Coordinate with Design, Writing, Compliance, Brand, Social Media, Video & Digital, and other Marketing teams to facilitate execution of advisor and branch marketing initiatives. 
  • Maintain working knowledge of Marketing policies, brand standards, available resources, and industry regulations while participating in department initiatives and process improvement efforts. 

What You'll Bring

  • Foundational knowledge of marketing, communications, project coordination, and customer service principles. 
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships. 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify risks, gather information, and recommend solutions. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and provide exceptional service to advisors and internal business partners. 
  • Working knowledge of financial-services marketing regulations and requirements, or the ability to develop such knowledge. 

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Required: B.S. or B.A. in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Minimum Required: 1+ years of marketing, communications, customer service, account support, project coordination, or similar experience. 

Licenses & Credentials

  • Minimum Required: None

Systems & Technology

  • Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. 
  • Experience with digital marketing and knowledge of digital strategies a plus. 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
