What You'll Be Doing

The Bank Operations & Fraud Intern will support the Deposit Operations and Fraud Investigation teams by assisting with daily operational tasks, transaction reviews, and basic research. This role offers exposure to core banking processes, fraud detection techniques, and client service operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Assist with daily deposit operations tasks including exception item review, account documentation, and transaction corrections
  • Support the processing of unauthorized Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) and ACH-related inquiries
  • Help research and resolve issues impacting client deposit accounts
  • Monitor alerts for suspicious activity across ACH, wires, online banking, and check transactions
  • Assist in gathering documentation and evidence for fraud investigations
  • Contribute to internal reporting and case documentation
  • Learn and apply basic fraud detection techniques and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support operational and fraud-related projects

What You'll Bring

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Education & Experience

  • Currently persuing a degree in Finance, Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • Familiarity with banking systems or case management tools
  • Interest in financial operations, fraud prevention, or compliance

Systems & Technology

  • Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Suite
