What You'll Be Doing

The Security Investigator will be responsible for the daily operation of the company's security protocols and systems designed to safeguard employees, customers, and operations. The Security Investigator will be integral in the development and implementation of enterprise policy, processes, training, and procedures. The security investigator will investigate issues on behalf of an organization associated with regulatory, financial, legal, and personnel matters.

What We're Looking For

• Lead and manage projects to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation to ensure project goals.
• Researching, writing, and helping implement procedure standards for a specific project and revising and modifying existing operation manuals.
• Create, develop, and deploy security education programs across the enterprise.
• Interact with vendors to develop cutting-edge security concepts.
• Manage and train contract security officers to ensure standardized service delivery.
• Manage life safety policies and protocols.
• Conducts investigations online and in person.
• Review records, obtain information, and confirm facts.
• Identifies criminal or unbecoming conduct.
• Questions and interviews persons to obtain evidence.
• Writes reports and documents investigations and makes recommendations.
• Conducts background checks.
• Investigates financial malfeasance, fraudulent behavior, and illegal actions.

What You'll Bring

• Strong background in change management.
• Solid liaison relationships with local, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
• Extensive knowledge of protective service operations.
• Extensive investigative experience involving fraud and financial crimes.
• Extensive knowledge of security video systems and access control integration.
• Proficiency in monitoring and assessing physical security risk in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring that external events and emerging risks are evaluated and managed accordingly.
• Proficiency in internal investigations, including workplace violence.
• Proficiency in problem-solving in an enterprise environment.
• High level of independent judgment.
• High ability to compare and evaluate possible courses of conduct and act or decide after considering all of the various possibilities.

Education & Experience

• Minimum Required: Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Required: 10+ years minimum law enforcement experience.

Licenses & Credentials

• Minimum Required: This position may be required to be armed. Highly qualified applicants will fall under HR-218 and have the ability to carry a concealed weapon in all 50 states.
• Corporate Security Advisor certification must be completed within one year of hire.

Systems & Technology

• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Proficient with card access management.
• Proficient with video surveillance management.
