The Product Relationship Specialist will play a key role in supporting and advancing the firm's objectives and will support the team in a wide range of activities including attracting new assets through phone and digital mediums.
• Establishes new relationships, maintains and grows existing relationships with clients by providing investment advice, best practices, information on products and solutions, portfolio manager perspectives and market/industry products
• Participates in campaigns to take advantage of changes in market conditions and product related opportunities by providing value-added advice
• Builds internal relationships and knowledge of firm specific requirements to help position our products and drive sales across product lines
• Utilizes CRM system and executes on territory business plan using data and insights to target new and existing clients, provides input to changes in territory business plan and strategizes with internal sales team/leadership in determining optimum contact strategy and sales opportunities
• Creates weekly plan of appointments, makes outgoing calls and follow up on leads from Senior Sales team
• Supports senior members on the team in a wide range of activities including engaging with existing and prospective investors, as well as internal investment professionals, and production of external-facing content
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Eagerness and curiosity to take on new challenges and new projects, often without clear structure or precedence
• Communicates effectively and develops strong relationships with various internal business groups and external contacts
• Integrity and professionalism
• Bachelor degree in Business or related field
• 1 - 3 years related experience
• Knowledge of economic and/or marketing principles and practices, the financial markets, the industry and the analysis and associated terminology
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
