What You'll Be Doing

The Sr. Treasury Sales Manager is primarily responsible for enhancing the sales efforts of Bankers within Stifel’s Fund Banking vertical, including Venture Capital and Private Equity clients on the East Coast but will also support existing client needs nationally as appropriate. The Treasury Sales Manager will have the ability to cross sell all deposit and non-interest income products as well as opportunistically seek out potential clients from a depository perspective.  The Treasury Sales Manager will also play a pivotal role in helping the bank implement new procedures and assist in directing service and product needs for the Fund Banking vertical.

What We're Looking For

  • Manage the business development and delivery of treasury products and services to Stifel’s Fund Banking clients, as well as channel partners in the Fund Banking vertical..

  • Develop a sales strategy to attract new Treasury Management customers to the bank

  • Analyze all Banking products and make recommendations regarding new products and changes to existing products specific to Fund Banking

  • Manages the sale of Treasury Services including but not limited to the Bank's Commercial Online Banking platform, Wire Originations, ACH Originations, Remote Deposit Capture solution, Business Mobile Deposit, Check and ACH Positive Pay solutions, Cash Management services and etal.

  • Ensures the development and implementation of Bank’s objectives, policies, procedures and performance reporting to maximize performance within Fund Banking.

  • Ensures all treasury management products are competitive relative to the market and our competitors and help drive change where needed

  • Provides support to all internal and external clients through all phases including the onboarding process.

  • Engage and work with internal and external partners, including other Stifel business units and 3rd party service providers

  • Provide guidance and support to Stifel’s other Treasury Sales Managers with respect to other Fund Banking opportunities.

     

What You'll Bring

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with limited supervision while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Some travel may be required

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Required: 7+ years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience within Treasury Management
  • Experience working with Venture Capital and Private Equity firms strongly preferred.

Licenses & Credentials

  • Minimum Required: CTP Preferred

Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in required software, computer, internet and operating systems necessary to deliver Bank products and services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
