What You'll Be Doing

The Bank New Accounts Specialist will provide exceptional client service and deliver on our mission to “execute with excellence”. This role focuses on administrative and operational tasks to facilitate the opening of new bank accounts. The specialist is responsible for reviewing new account applications, opening new accounts, preparing and processing paperwork, ensuring accuracy and maintaining compliance with banking regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • Receive and review new bank account applications and requests, ensuring all required information is complete and accurate.
  • Follow up and report on missing documentation/information.
  • Input client data into various bank systems, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Verify client information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., AML/KYC), and identify and report potential risks.
  • Create necessary documentation, manage and prepare paperwork related to account opening process.
  • Collaborate with other areas/departments, provide support to client-facing staff, and address any issues or questions related to bank account opening.
  • Perform maintenance functions on existing bank accounts as requested.
  • Assist new accounts teammates when needed.

  • Strong accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum Preferred: 1+ years experience in the financial services industry.

Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Competent in the use of or ability to learn DocuSign and various banking software
