The AnnuityNet Specialist II acts as the liaison between the business and the third party IT organization (Ebix, the parent of AnnuityNet) to provide business critical or complex technical solutions that meet user needs and improve business performance by providing the technical analysis of business requirements (including translation into functional requirements), problem solving and troubleshooting in support of the Annuity Solutions and Insurance Trade Review teams, Operations and Licensing Departments. The AnnuityNet Specialist II is accountable for ensuring that clear, concise requirements have been captured, will participate in testing, drive issue resolution and support the implementation process as well as develop all procedural documentation and manuals. Lastly, works directly with Stifel branches providing both order entry support and troubleshooting of AnnuityNet defects/deficiencies.
• Serves as the Test Lead on test cases, test data set up, traceability, user testing, defect tracking and test status reporting as well as monitor the stability of the AnnuityNet production environment. Understands the business processes and the interdependencies of various systems in use.
• Liaisons with Stifel and Ebix IT departments and other internal departments for any system issues including research and implementation of the following enhancements, but not limited to: Licensing and appointment checks, Product Training Checks and funds check.
• Coordinates product introductions with Annuity Solutions Team and carriers, ensuring new products have been tested in the simulation environment; all carrier and Stifel forms are being generated and populated accurately. Coordinates product changes with carriers including: Testing of products changes, turning products on and off through the Ebix Distributor Delta support system, Use of Ebix Firm Management tool to Allow shutting off of certain riders and functionalities within platforms and Adding Carrier and Stifel Questions to Platforms
• Troubleshoots with AnnuityNet Specialist, Entitlements & Control and Stifel and Ebix IT concerning log-on access and account validity issues. Editing and tagging Stifel/Century forms within AN4 and AMP.
• Participates and documents discussions with Annuity Solutions, Insurance Trade Review, Operations, Licensing and Internal Technology Teams in order to achieve alignment on defining requirements for enhancements to platforms.
• Gathers, analyzes, documents and translates business requirements into functional specifications that can be used to design and implement solutions to meet the business objectives. Manages the change control and traceability processes for requirements.
• Analyzes complex system and system-related problems for Annuity Solutions, Insurance Trade Review, Operations and Licensing teams and making recommendations for improvements or new designs. Identifies potential solutions for the business and providing input into any risks and issues. Creates and implements test plans (schedule, approach, cases, scripts and conditions, etc.). Ensures the testing environment has sufficient test data to carry out the full test plans.
• Ensures all quality standards and techniques are followed, including compiling and publishing artifacts and deliverables of the AnnuityNet and AMP project management system. Updates/creates user and technical documentation procedures and manuals, operational support documentation, and archival of project documentation. Identifies and communicates risks, issues and potential solution strategies along with providing status updates to the department manager and/or senior leadership.

• Solid understanding of the processes and systems in use (or the ability to quickly acquire the knowledge).
• Solid analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use statistical analysis and modeling.
• Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum Required: 3-5 years' experience in Financial Services background and testing
• Minimum Required: State Resident Life and Health Insurance License
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
