What You'll Be Doing

The Product Advice Specialist will be supporting initiatives of the Traditional Product Advice Group. The Specialist is responsible for conducting product comparisons, preparing product solutions, education, and product advice for Stifel Financial Advisors and clients. The Specialist must continually develop an in depth knowledge of investment products. This position works closely with other key members of the Firm, including the Product Management team, Traditional Products Research Group, Advisory Marketing, Program Management, and Operations along with Mutual Fund Operations.

What We're Looking For

• Receives inbound communications from Stifel Financial Advisors (FAs) and constructs portfolio analysis reports, and various Morningstar reports. Evaluates statements and existing accounts and positions in order to prepare reports and analysis for FAs.
• Works with Product Management team and Operations to fulfill FA's requests related to products.
• Analyze client data provided by FAs to construct an asset allocation appropriate SMAs, Mutual Funds or ETFs to complete a portfolio.
• Meets with product partners in order to evaluate and differentiate products.
• Educates FA's on all aspects of products.
• Develop and continually enhance knowledge of investment products.
• Maintain, develop, and publish content for Stifel Portal.
• Deliver outstanding service to Financial Advisors to create an enhanced client experience.

What You'll Bring

• Working knowledge of Firm, with specific background of Mutual Funds, Exchange Traded Products, SMAs and 529 plans preferred. 
• General understanding of compliance issues surrounding Exchange Traded Products, Mutual Funds, 529 Plans, and SMAs.

Education & Experience

• Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
• Minimum Required: 1-3 years related experience

Licenses & Credentials

• Minimum Required: FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 66 obtained within six months of hire

Systems & Technology

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Proficient in Morningstar Advisor Workstation and Morningstar Direct
