What You'll Be Doing

Stifel’s Sophomore Explorers Program is a selective, invite-only immersive, 4-day learning experience during which sophomore students will gain a deeper understanding of Investment Banking, Fixed Income, and Equity Research. Selected candidates will participate in both lecture style and interactive programming and networking activities with Stifel bankers, while diving deep into how our business operates. By the end of the program, participants will have an understanding of Stifel’s institutional business, the finance services industry, and future internship opportunities at Stifel. Successful participants will be considered for Summer 2026 internships in the division that best matches their skills and interests.

  • Please note that our system only allows for one file upload. To apply, you must submit a single PDF that includes both your resume and statement of interest when prompted to upload your resume. Students who do not submit a resume and statement of interest will not be considered. 
  • Statements of interest should be no longer than 500 words and should cover a brief statement of interest that tells us what you hope to gain from the program, and, describe a personal experience that shows the importance of diversity.
  • This is an in-person program. Candidates must be available to attend the program in New York from January 6 – 9, 2025; Travel and hotel costs will be covered by Stifel.
  • The application deadline is Sunday, November 11, 2024, at 11:55 p.m. E.T.

Education & Experience

Requirements:

  • GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027

Compensation Range

Salary: USD $0.00/Hr. -

Actual salaries may vary, and may be based on several factors, including but not limited to each candidate’s qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position.The base salary is one component of Stifel’s overall compensation package for each individual employee.
