The IT Technician I will provide basic technical assistance and support to Stifel employed end-users. This position will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. This position performs routine preventive maintenance on all end user computer systems.
• Install and resolve technical issues with user PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Provide prompt support to users via email, phone, and other electronic means.
• Own issues through resolution, escalating to appropriate support member/team when necessary.
• Set up equipment for employee use, performs or ensures proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
• Maintain records of trouble tickets, daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
• Knowledge of principles for providing strong customer and personal service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of industry standard IT best practices, including disaster recovery and high availability concepts.
• Knowledge and understanding of ITIL and Agile principles in a service environment
• Provides daily operations support and maintenance for network systems (including wireless and VoIP).
• Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Required: 0-2 years professional business related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
