The Cloud Engineer (Azure) is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure and services. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of Azure-based applications and systems. This role involves troubleshooting and optimizing Azure environments while staying updated on emerging Azure technologies and best practices in cloud computing.
• Deploy and manage cloud resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage, databases) primarily using Microsoft Azure.
• Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of Azure cloud services.
• Collaborate with software developers and system administrators to ensure seamless integration with applications hosted on Azure.
• Implement automation and orchestration using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and other Azure-native tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents on Azure.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and certifications in Azure cloud technologies.
• Possess additional experience working with AWS environments, applying AWS best practices, leveraging AWS tools for cross-platform insights, and using AWS CloudFormation and Lambda functions.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.
• Proficiency in Azure with working knowledge of AWS.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation and Azure Resource Manager.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Instances).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.
• Proficiency in Azure with working knowledge of AWS.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation and Azure Resource Manager.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Azure-related roles.
